Variety: 80% Sémillon, 10% Sauvignon, 10% Muscadelle

Fermentation and maturation: Fermentation and maturation in casks for 22 months.

Serving temperature: between 10° and 12°C.

Tasting: In pretty pale gold with a lovely shimmer, this pleasant sweet wine with significant ageing potential reveals a myriad of fruits and flowers where orange blossom, citrus fruits, exotic fruits and apricot combine. A light touch of vanilla bears witness to a well-managed maturation in casks. Both fresh and well-bodied on the palate, this great wine rewards us with a finish in which toasted notes and citrus peels vie for complexity. A masterly grand vin Monbazillac whose finesse exceeds its sweetness!

  • Serving suggestions:
    Passionate admirers of sweet wines will enjoy them from the aperitif right through to dessert. Do them justice with a terrine of fresh foie gras or fried foie gras, bass cooked in its skin with a salad of tomatoes and balsamic vinegar, a medallion of veal with mushrooms, duck à l’orange, grilled chicken or guinea fowl glazed with acacia honey and a hint of ginger accompanied by peppers and delicately spiced vegetables, calf sweetbreads in sauce, veined cheeses or even apple pie…
